The BMD Pro Tour 2025

2025 will see major improvements for the BMD Pro Tour.
We’re excited about the rollout which will help create sustainable growth in skateboarding and aims to improve the position of athletes.

Where & When

The 2025 BMD Pro Tour Championship will consist of the following 4 stops.

Stop 1 - Christie Downs SA - 18th of January 2025
Stop 2 - Port Kennedy WA - 29th of March 2025
Stop 3 - Redbank Plains QLD - 31st of May 2025
Stop 4 - Mackay QLD - 26th & 27th of September 2025

key points

Each of the 4 stops have the same allocation of championship points awarded for results

3 results counting allows for injuries, conflicting schedules and the opportunity to improve a result over the season. This will tighten the championship race and allow more competitors to be eligible by end of season.

Shift from a ‘Series’ to a ‘Tour’

The new system will be ranked across the 4 events, with 3 of your results counting points.
When Stop #4 is complete, the top ranked competitors from the season will receive
1st Place - $10,000
2nd Place - $3000
3rd Place - $2000

These allocations of prize money are across both the Mens and Womens, so the top male and female will receive $10,000 each, as well as the same breakdowns for 2nd and 3rd.

individual stops

For consistency, all 4 stops now have the same prize money, with the standard amount now increasing by $2000 per event. Prize Money will be paid down to 8th place at all 4 stops.

Mackay will have the same pool, but it also has the $30,000 that will go out for the end of season Ranking Champions.
