BMD Eastern Rumble Wrap

What a weekend! Street and Bowl skaters took to the brand new Redbank Plains Skatepark for the 1st Event BMD Eastern Rumble, the 4th addition to the tour. Over 150 skateboarders took to the courses to compete over the weekend, in what was one of the highest level commpetitions to date.


Juniors are coming in strong
The Junior Street and bowl both came in strong, showing us the future is looking bright for a strong Opens in the next 5 years. Skateboarders from New Zealand to WA came through to battle over the 2 days.

Special Mention to Apex Vac Solutions 13 & Under Division,which had the most competitors of any division.

The #youfor2032 program with the QAS is working a treat with a number of kids in the program all thriving and succeeding over the weekend.


Back to Back Masters was a huge treat

The late additional to the event, both the street and bowl masters were added to the event thanks to Skate Connection and Lawcrete throwing some coin at the veterans to get them active and involved.

Opens Hits hard both days

The Street and Bowl Mens and Womens was one of the strongest we’ve seen to date.

The heavy hitting list of both Australian and New Zealand skaters pushed some it to a whole new level being one of the most exciting live events and broadcasts to date.

Live Stream improves yet again

The live streaming of the street saturday via Kommunity TV gets better and better, with live replays, and Ant Herrera and comedian Aaron Gocs taking the helm on the commentary.

The Vibe

We had such a strong vibe, brought to us by a ton of partners getting involved and making it happen.

The food was epic, with a mix of turkish, vietnamese, italian, wings & Ice cream to keep everyone fed over the weekend.

Monster Energy kept us charged and the community with their DJ truck and Free cans going out left rights and centre.

Podium Supply Co made sure all the juniors won some epic prizes.

Clif Bar kept the crew fed on a healthy scale.

Flip Insurance had everyone covered for injuries, an entire new thing for skateboarding where 4 months ago you needed to sign a waiver.

Kingswood and postal had the merch tents going with some exclusive products over the weekend to win and on sale.

Fullhammer had the best Rumble merch over the weekend for winners staff and the crowds.

Slabzoo for their amazing coverage over the weekend.

Nine25 App were such an epic new partner, creating discount codes for people to eat for free or watch the stream, we can’t wait to work with them again
