Getting there and experiences
If you are flying from a regional city, check out Bonza, who have insanely cheap flights to and from Mackay.

NQ Car and Truck rental we have used for car hire for 5 years and they are amazing. There is also a number of other options should you need it in town such as budget avis etc.

Accommodation
Check out some of the accommodation on the
Rumble on the Reef Website.
You have nice apartments in the CBD,
The adventure lodge is extremely close to the skatepark, but also check out hotels on Nebo road, we recently stayed in a few and the pricings good and the rooms were amazing..

Must do Experiences
Go to the Red Cat Island Tours, Cape Hillsborough with the Roos, and Finchhatton Gorge. Mackay Adventure can run cost effective tours if you don’t want to make the drives yourself.

The Skate Experience
With upgraded lighting at the skatepark, majority of the competition will be run at night, so take advantage of the daytime, swim, rest, explore and connect with everyone. It’s the biggest skateboarding week of the year.

We can’t wait to crown a 2023 Champion

This event is massively important to our team, no one in Australia had or would support the idea of making an event that would bring the whole community together. Mackay was the first city to believe it could be done and supported skateboarders and for that our community will owe them forever.

Fast forward 6 years, and we have just completed a 4 stop tour series, something we’ve never had in street skateboarding in Australia, and a long time since bowl has had one.

The support of our community has grown something in skateboarding for the future and next generation.

We will forever recognise our rumble champions in the history books.
Street
Brad Saunders, Shaun Boucher, Tommy Fynn, Rome Collyer, Chloe Covell, Kat Williams, Haylie Powell.

Bowl
Shaun Boucher, Sam Renwick, Maddie Pease, Taniah Meyers, Ash Wilcomes
